In Sympathy -- for MHKDesigns

It's Saturday, and after spending part of this week, I am recovering. The second chemo treatment is coming up next Wednesday.  I can do this!

I'm posting today for MHKDesigns.  Today, I'm showcasing one of my favorite cards from the past few months on the team.  This is a card I made back in August, and I really like the way it turned out:

I used the MHKDesigns Beginnings & Endings digital stamp set to create this card.  Both the butterfly and the sentiment are from the Beginnings & Endings stamp set.  A couple shades of Tim Holtz distress ink on the butterfly add those pops of color.

The last challenge of the year is going on at MHKDesigns.  Come join in the fun!

  3. Julie, your card is just lovely. Great color choice. I know it gets harder with each cycle because you never get back up to the level you were before. Sending you prayers and warm wishes. I know the holidays makes you more tired too. Cancer isn't for whimps sorry to say so I know you are a tough person and a real trooper.

  4. You are such an inspiration Julie, always have been. I've admired your dedication to creativity for such a long time and the fact that you keep on trucking on days when you aren't feeling well is such a testament to your power. LOVE this pretty butterfly and love that you are still posting away. You've got this lady...thinking of you and sending positive vibes. HUGS from NC
